This monitor clocks in at a staggering 34″ in ultra-wide 21:9 format, so it’s noticeably wider than a 34-inch 16:9 widescreen. Packaging and Accessories
The box that the X34 comes in is a stark reminder that you’ve just received a £1000 monitor. It’s big, it’s heavy, and for some, it may be a two-man job to move it around safely. The box is very strong and much larger than the monitor, which is already big in its self, allowing lots of room for durable foam padding inside to keep it safe in transit.
The monitor comes with a protective film applied to all plastic surfaces, and a soft foam material is covering all of the metal components, ensuring it’s free from scratches once you take it out of the box.
In the box, you’ll also find a heavy duty mounting plate, DisplayPort cable, HDMI cable, power cord, USB cable, and the usual documentation. Now, let’s get everything setup and take a closer look at what it has to offer.
This is a fantastic monitor however you do have to be comfortable with editing game files etc. as very few games natively support the Ultra Wide setting let alone correctly. When it does work though it really adds to the immersion.
