Call of Duty Ghosts Runs At 880 x 720 Resolution On Wii U, Xbox 360 And PS3
Treyarch’s A_Trey_U confirmed via Twitter that Call of Duty Ghosts will run at the same resolution on Wii U, Xbox 360 and PS3 as Black Ops II did. According to NeoGAF forum discussions that means Call of Duty Ghosts will use the same 880 x 720 resolution on all three devices and upscale to match to resolution of the display it is being shown on. Of course 880 x 720 isn’t a 16:9 aspect ratio but one NeoGAF forum user comments that “You can upscale from odd ratios to a 16:9 target as long as the game considers that during rendering. Some games do that.” So Call of Duty Ghosts doesn’t really bring anything impressive for current generation consoles, if anything it is just more of the same. Console gamers will need an Xbox One or PlayStation 4 to really see some graphical improvements over past console Call of Duty titles.
As far as Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are concerned Call of Duty Ghosts runs at native 720p on Xbox One and is upscaled to 1080p, while on PlayStation 4 it runs at native 1080p.

All them fish AI making us lag
Dont forget the DOG!
wow are people still making fish AI and Dog jokes (I use that term very lightly) ?? (and I thought I was behind the times…..)
I believe so yes, don’t get it twisted tho im a CoD fanboy.
🙂
I still don’t get how a 10 year old engine manages to do this. All they need to do is lower texture resolution to back to at least true 720p…oh right, it’s because the only thing they changed to make Ghosts look better is textures–lowering them would make it look the same as the last umteen CODs.
