CM Storm Inferno Gaming Mouse Review

Today we are taking a look at another Cooler Master product, but this time from their gaming brand, CM Storm, which, as they claim, has been co-developed with the world’s most prolific enthusiasts and eSports prodigies, so that doesn’t half set the bar high. They do however conduct intensive testing and listen to all the feedback they get, and as such they are seeing a lot of success in both the product market and the eSports gaming tournaments.

They have always aimed to be fairly creative with their design and while this mouse may look pretty normal, there are certainly a lot of interesting features that have been fitted. For starters, they have a button which is called the, Storm Tactics Multiplier key, and one called the Rapid Fire Tactical Key and while we aren’t too sure why they are called keys and not buttons they certainly sound like they have been evolved specifically for the gaming market.

  1. Yes you are correct, of course, but will get back to you on that one in a few days time when I have a Razer mouse to directly compare. There are other factors that can influence accuracy though its not all down to the DPI of the sensor, for instance the Inferno uses a twin laser, and the Razer Imperator uses a laser and an optical sensor.

  2. Great review! I agree for the profile changing, even from my end it sounds impossible to determine which is which
