Corsair’s Carbide Series 500R now available

Corsair has today announced the worldwide retail availability of their latest product in the gaming cases: the Carbide 500R.

Featuring what every gamer seeks, the 500R incorporates good cooling system, efficient cable management, hard drive cages with tool-less design and versatility of the hard drive cage for longer video cards, as well as the stunning looks we find on every cases at Corsair, from the Obsidian to the Graphite passing by the Carbide, none will look bad along the proper gaming materials.

“The Carbide Series 500R takes everything that’s great about the 400R, inherits additional features from our higher-end cases, and wraps them all in a new skin that really draws the eye.” said Ruben Mookerjee, VP and General Manager for Components at Corsair. “Cooling performance is superb, and it’s a great platform for high-performance gaming rigs with multiple graphics cards.”

Available in both arctic white and graphite grey, for a mid range price you get the cooling capacity of more than six fans, ranging from 120 to 200 mm, as well as the efficient cable management solution featured on all of their cases, allowing for a clean airflow free of obstructions.

The front I/O features the latest you can found as well as the standard always required, with a power and reset button along with lighting toggle switch, two USB 3.0, one IEEE 1394, and the usual headphone out and mic in.

Accepting boards with ATX and mATX format as well as a total 8 expansion slots, gaming is definitely what it’s aiming for.

Featuring four external 5.25” bays and six internal 3.5” and 2.5”, all of which are tool less for easily installation and removal.
