HIS Digitial has announced five new additions to their IceQX2 graphics card series that utilize the latest AMD Radeon Polaris 20 GPU. Four of these are Radeon RX 580 Polaris 20 XT based and one is a Radeon RX 570 Polaris 20 XL GPU based which actually leaked last week when it showed up in Vietnamese tech website Genk.vn. Three of these RX 580 graphics cards have 8GB memory while one has 4GB.
At the top of the heap is the HIS RX 580 XTR IceQX2 Roaring Turbo that has a base clock of 1256MHz that boosts up to 1430MHz, while directly below it is the HIS RX 580 8GB IceQX2 Turbo with the same base clock but boosts up to 1405MHz and the HIS RX 580 8GB IceQX2 OC boosts up to 1366MHz. All three have 8GB of GDDR5 memory running at 8000MHz.
The 4GB HIS RX 580 IceQX2 OC on the other hand runs a slower effective memory clock rate of 7000MHz with a similar 1256MHz base clock that boosts up to 1366MHz.
The lone Polaris 20 XL offering from HIS Digital is the HIS RX 570 4GB IceQX2 OC, running a similar 7000MHz effective memory clock speed as the 4GB RX 580 but has a lower base clock of 1168MHz that boosts up to 1264MHz.
For the latest 500 series AMD Radeons, HIS Digital has redesigned the fan blades used on the IceQX2 coolers using a larger 100mm 11-bladed design that produces 31% higher airflow compared to the HIS 400 series IceQX2 90mm 9-blade design. It also runs at a much lower noise level.
