We are getting close to having a full picture of all the upcoming graphics cards with custom coolers of Nvidia’s new flagship. The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will set new standards in terms of enthusiast performance with about 30% performance increase over the previous flagship card. This time it is EVGA showing their take on a custom card called the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3.
EVGA has had a lot of success with their FTW models in the past, I’m actually typing this article on a system powered by one – an older one, but still. The FTW cards have come a long was as we can see on these rendered images; we don’t need any specifications to tell us that. At least none other than the GPUs. The card is powered by a GP102 GPU which features 3584 CUDA cores, 224 TMUs, and 88 ROPs.
The GPU and the 11GB GDDR5X memory, as well as the entire PCB, should be kept nice and cool with this beast of a cooler. Along with an aggressive design, the cooler shroud also features LED lighting in various areas. We can also spot the two 8-pin power connectors that will feed this monster with all the power it needs to run.
Previously, we have seen ASUS, MSI, INNO3D, and Zotac‘s custom models as well as the reference Founder Edition version.
