Designed by Logitech’s sound engineering department, the Logitech G933 Artemis Spectrum Wireless Gaming Headset and the Logitech G633 Artemis Spectrum Gaming headset represent the newest additions to the company’s high-end audio lineup. Both of these headsets are equipped with patent pending Pro-G audio drivers made using hybrid mesh materials that ensure irreproachable audio quality.
The drivers are complemented by surround sound technologies, which are incredibly important during gaming sessions as they dramatically improve audio awareness. Furthermore, the headsets are compatible with DTS Headphone:X technology that uses advanced processing and calibration in order to deliver a studio-like experience through 7.1 channels. DTS Headphone:X is not available at the time of writing, but it will be enabled by a separate Logitech Gaming Software update in October.
The Logitech G633 and G933 are fully compatible with PCs, Xbox One consoles, PlayStation 4 consoles and mobile devices. The Logitech G633 boasts an analog input and a USB connector, which means that it can mix sound from up to two devices at a time. The Logitech G933 comes with one USB mix adapter and two analog inputs.
The Logitech Gaming Software can be used to modify the headsets’ lighting patterns, buttons and audio settings. RGB lighting can be adjusted from up to 16.8 million colors while three programmable G-keys can be used to create custom game macros. The G633 is an exclusively wired product while the G933 can also be used over 2.4GHz wireless. As far as availability and pricing are concerned, the G633 will cost about $149.99 and will become available in September. The G933 will cost $199.99 and will hit the stores in October.
