Modders Rush to Finish at InWin Mod in Taiwan

Just a few hours left to go and the eight competing teams are putting the finishing touches on their InWin 509 chassis builds. The teams have had the clock ticking eight hours a day for three days, giving them a total build time of just 24 hours. They all started with the same components, but could bring extra materials with them to create their own unique designs. We took our camera into the modding room to see them tinkering with the final few parts, such as cuttings, glueing, cable routing and so much more.

The video may be a little loud, so be sure to turn your speakers down first. The builds will soon be done, and then shipped off to Computex 2016 where we’ll be showing you them in all their glory. The winners will be judged and with some incredible prizes up for grabs, we’re sure the teams are eager to win the top honours. Good luck to all the teams and we’ll see you in a couple of days at the main show!
