Is Nioh More Difficult Than Dark Souls?

Back in the day, games used to be much more difficult, and gamers needed plenty of patience in order to complete them. Nowadays, only a select few titles can give hardcore gamers a real challenge, and some of those games are a part of the renowned Souls series. However, it looks like a new contender is about to arrive, one that will only be playable on PlayStation 4 consoles unfortunately. Developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo, Nioh is an upcoming historical fantasy action role-playing game that could be just as difficult as Dark Souls. The game is expected to be released on October 28 this year, and a recently unveiled gameplay video shows off some of its main features, including the combat system.
From what I’ve seen so far, it doesn’t really look like Nioh is more difficult than Dark Souls, but it’s definitely not a walk in the park either. The enemies seem to be capable of inflicting a lot of damage from a single hit, which is why the player will need to keep a close eye on his positioning and health bar at all times. When the game’s alpha demo was made available a few months ago, gamers noticed two interesting features named Movie Mode and Action Mode, which allowed them to allocate more computing power to the game’s resolution or frame rates respectively. In Action Mode, Nioh will be able to run at a frame rate higher than 30 FPS, at the expense of some visual fidelity, of course.
