Prolimatech Panther CPU Cooler Review
Prolimatech make some of the biggest and meatiest heatsinks on the market (such as the Genesis, Megahalems and so on) but today we have something relatively minuscule from Prolimatech in the form of the Panther CPU cooler. This is a quad 6mm heatpipe with a single 120mm red LED fan. It has been designed to be compact but high performance and it is targeted at the mid range user who values RAM compatibility. The Prolimatech Panther is not that far off your average tower heatsink CPU cooler at 161mm tall but is coming in at around £30 making it a very much value orientated option. It is also one of the very few Prolimatech CPU coolers to actually come bundled with a fan as they often provide only passive heatsinks and allow you to add your own fans.
Coloured fan wires really irk you don’t they Ryan? 🙂 I just turn the fan so the wires are facing the mobo and once it’s clipped to the heatsink you don’t notice them. Nice review BTW. I see one has been delivered to me for testing as well so I’ll know what to expect, not that I expected it to be much different from the dozen other coolers I’ve already tested in this class.
Yes they really do! true in some cases you might not notice them but I think they’d be better off choosing black then people really have no reason to complain 😛
Performance of the CPU cooler is good enough to consider it as one of the main competitors in the market.
And another good review, Ryan! 🙂
Did I fall off of the bus and bump my head? Why are corporations still trying to compete for a mediocre spot in the cooling competitions? We all know that the Hyper 212 is extremely good at doing the same as these others in the same class and at the cheapest price point. You can get one for $20.00 or less. sheesh, I couldnt make and distribute a better product for that price!
