Marriage symbolises the end of one part of your life and the beginning of another. For some, however, it also represents the end of an 11-year record as Xbox Gamerscore record-holder Stallion83 lost his title after getting married and going on a honeymoon. Some people just can’t get their priorities straight it seems.
Not a clue, but don’t worry, he’s not bitter about it and has no regrets. Hopefully, that applies to both the marriage and the record.
During his wedding and honeymoon, his biggest rival Stephen “Smrnov” Rowe decided to take advantage of the situation and plow into the lead reported Mashable.
Now at this point, you might be wondering, what is the record.
Well, at the time of writing, Rowe is currently on 1,592,530 with Stallion83 (Ray Cox) is on 1,587,249. Activity in the last 24 hours would suggest that things are showing no signs of slowing down though.
That Being said, in a Twitter post, Ray Cox does not appear bitter in the slightest.
Maybe, but he’s playing catch up now. Considering he held the lead for 11 years, despite competition, he might not find it too easy to retake it.
Hopefully, he doesn’t have too much remorse about losing the gamerscore record and if he does, he better keep it under the radar from the newly wed Mrs. Cox.
We don’t know if he took his Xbox with him on the honeymoon. I would advise however that in general, there are more fun things to do on your honeymoon than play Xbox. Plus it might be a bit awkward when you arrive at your hotel for the first thing to see your new hubby doing, rather than admiring the massive bed or deep bath, is setting up his rig and searching the welcome book for the wifi password.
We pass our best wishes to Mr & Mrs. Cox! Now go retake your gamerscore record!
