12K (Triple 4K Monitor) Graphics Test Bench Upgrade Review

Battlefield 4

In this configuration, we can see that even the Titan X and Fury X struggle to produce over 30FPS. While this would be playable, it wouldn’t be ideal.

Bioshock Infinite

A similar story here, however, the GTX 980Ti takes a slight fall to match the R9 390X.

Grand Theft Auto V

Changing this game up to triple monitors added a whole new level to the surrounding features of the game. However, those features game at a mighty performance price.

Metro Last Light

A general theme running here, around 30FPS on average for all of the games so far.

Tomb Raider

Tomb Raider is less taxing game, so all of the cards had slightly more performance here, the R9 390X almost hitting 30FPS.

Unigine Valley

I had left the test quality for Unigine Valley at our typical settings to fully get to grips with how the cards perform. This shows how the performance drops for each card from 4K to the ’12K’ resolution. We understand that this isn’t what 12K resolution would be, but it is much easier to represent on a graph than ‘6480 x 3840″ or “11520 x 2160”.
