The US store J&R has listed on its website a yet unannounced Samsung notebook based on Intel’s 22nm platform: the NP700Z7C-S01US Nike.
This 17.3″ laptop with Full HD LED-backlit display and resolution of 1920 x 1080 is powered by an Intel Core i7-3615QM processor running at 2.3GHz, Intel HD 4000 graphics, 8 GB of RAM, a DVD writer and a 1 TB hard drive backed by 8 GB of NAND Express Cache. The operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit).
Also included is a multi-in-one card reader, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, and an 8-cell battery.
Labelled as ‘coming soon’, the NP700Z7C-S01US is currently priced at $1,499.99, whether this is a pre-launch price that will drop or not is unknown.
