1MORE has continued to prove that they’re one of the best in the business for headphones. They’ve repeatedly delivered competitive products with great features and surprisingly competitive prices too. They’ve got a little something for everyone, with their flagship models for the audiophiles, to their stylish and more affordable models for those on a tighter budget. However, the ComfoBuds series sits somewhere in the middle, and while I still love the original version of these headphones, the 1MORE ComfoBuds 2 True Wireless Headphones promise to be even better!
The upgrades are relatively modest on the surface, but given the new model are the same price as the old model, I’ll undoubtedly welcome any enhancements. They’ve been upgraded from Bluetooth 5.0 to 5.2, which has improved codecs, connectivity and mixing features that could prove useful on newer devices. There’s also the new EQ Presets from Sonarworks, something sorely lacking from the older model. The ear tips are now fully replaceable, as they were a hard-fixed system before. However, the most significant upgrade has to be the battery, which will now reach a full 24 hours (with charges from the dock) rather than 18 hours and will even give you three hours of use from just a 15 minutes charge! However, beyond that, the core specifications do remain the same.
“Great earbuds call for great comfort. The earbuds are ergonomically crafted with a semi in-ear design to provide a truly comfortable, secure and less intrusive fit. Weighing in at only 4.3g, you might forget you’re wearing them. Two sizes of silicone ear tips are available, allowing you to find the perfect fit for your ears.” – 1MORE
