Our friends over at Futuremark have released their second trailer today, for the upcoming, well anticipated, LONG overdue 3dMark 11.
3DMark 11 will be highly devoted to DirectX 11, by utilising DirectX 11 hardware to show various effects including advanced tesselation. 3DMark has always been an insight into the future and generally shows us how games will look in the next coming years.
Straight away from viewing the video, you will notice the lens flare of light gleaming through the gaps and the individual leaves on the trees swaying as the camera pans round with so much detail.
This is still a tech demo, and as with all demo’s, the developer has complete rights to change or modify it before its final release, so whether the above scene makes it into the final version is anyone’s guess.
I bet Antec are happy with the above still, clearly showing off their brand name in big bold letters.
If this trailer (which personally is better than the first deep sea trailer) is anything to go by, it really does show what is capable with the current technology with regards to hardware and software collaboration. This is the future, today!
