4.7 Inch Nokia Lumia 625 Spotted In China

There is certainly something that has been missing from Nokia’s Windows Phone offering and that is an affordable large touch screen smartphone. That said a report from China suggests we could be seeing a large 4.7 inch display Nokia Lumia 625 running the Windows Phone OS, likely Windows Phone 8. This would be Nokia’s largest display Windows Phone to date and remains similar to the Nokia Lumia 620 in terms of core non-screen specifications with a 1.2GHz dual core Snapdragon SoC, 512MB of RAM and a 2000 mAHh battery. The resolution is quite disappointing at just 800 by 480 (WVGA) although the extra screen real estate is nice and hopefully they will offer higher end large display Windows Phones with more impressive resolutions such as 720P and 1080P.

The Nokia Lumia 625 is estimated to go on sale at the end of this month for 1999 Chinese Yuan which is about $320.
