Every once in a while a free-to-play game comes along that blows the competition out of the water, Shadowgun: Deadzone is one of those games. A fully online multiplayer shooter, with stunning 3D graphics, animations, premium quality sound effects, customisation options, a cover system, ranking tables, clans and more, this is everything you expect from a quality online shooter.
Playing from the 3rd person perspective is a joy in this game and I was a little concerned that the touch controls would prove too cumbersome to be competitive, yet that really isn’t the case and with a little practice you’ll be evading, firing, reloading and grenade your way to victory.
The graphics are simply mind blowing for a mobile device, there are a few options to tone things down should you not have a mobile device capable of rendering the dazzling array of lighting and particle effects, but either way you’ll be ripping it up in the games action packed death matches within no time.
