5 of The Best Free-to-Play Games Available on Android

unnamed (5)

Royal Revolt is a reverse tower defence and in my opinion is the best free-to-play game available on Android today. It sticks true to the free-to-play formula in that every aspect of the game can be played for free, but you can buy boosts using real world money should you wish, but from my experience, you really won’t need to. It has an engrossing magic, character and stat leveling system, multiple spells to unlock, around 70 levels to complete in the main quest, plenty of bonus levels, daily challenges and recently even more levels were added in the form of a bonus mode. I’ve put around 40 hours into the game so far and have barely completed half of what is on offer and new content seems to arrive steadily through title updates.

Graphics are crisp and bright, sound and music is fantastic and animation is well executed. Its super easy to pick up and play thanks to some great tutorials and a decent learning curve. It plays great on a phone but its battle format does seem better suited to a tablet sized interface.

If you like pick up and play, realtime action titles with a bit of strategy, then I highly recommend you try this title out soon.

  1. What about Simpsons Tapped out? Fantastic game, you should do a top 5/10 apps story every month for all the new stuff released, I don’t know about anyone else but I am getting more and more into android/ipad gaming.

    1. I have downloaded it, but its finding time to play them all ¬_¬ A real first world problem, which is why I stuck to only covering games which I have both played and approve of personally for the time being.
