LG Electronics is apparently gearing up for the launch of another Android based tablet. This new tablet from LG will be branded the G Pad and uses an 8.3 inch touch screen display. LG haven’t just gone with any old touch screen and given that LG has its own display company, LG Display, it isn’t surprising to see a high quality 1920 by 1200 display as the screen of choice. According to Techblog.gr the LG G Pad will use a quad core ARM processor, while PhoneArena suggests we will also see 2GB of RAM and a minimal bezel.
The LG G Pad is expected to have cellular connectivity with a SIM Card slot making phone calls possible. We should expect more details at the IFA 2013 trade show in Berlin next month where LG Electronics are expected to unveil this new tablet.
