8Pack and der8auer Smash 3 World Records at ROG OC Showdown 2015

8Pack isn’t known as one of the best overclockers in the world for no reason and he has just shown everyone why that is at the recent ASUS ROG OC  Showdown Area 2015 by not only winning the event but also breaking two world records himself while his partner in “crime” der8auer also cracked a record.

The records were created on the ASUS Rampage Extreme V motherboard with ASUS GeForce GTX Titan X in Triple & Quad-SLI configuration and using LN2 cooling:

  • Catzilla 1440P – 56747 by 8pack
  • Catzilla 720P – 94997 by der8auer
  • 3DMark11 Performance – 53396 by 8pack

Other partners for the event besides ASUS, were HyperX, Seasonic, and Dimastech supplying the hardware that was used.

8Pack’s normal home is at Overclockers UK where they also sell specialized and highly overclocked systems by just him, 8Pack. So if you got the taste for just the best, you can buy it directly. Those systems won’t come cheap though as the cheapest system starts at £4679.94 incl. VAT.
