The GA-H61N-USB3 is a new LGA 1155 mini-ITX motherboard that Gigabyte have released to appeal to the HTPC and SFF (small form factor) crowd. A 6 phase VRM design powers the LGA 1155 socket while a standard 4-pin CPU power connector and 24-pin ATX power connector power the board. A single PCI-E X16 expansion slot is present. Two DDR3 DIMM slots supporting up to 16GB of memory in dual channel mode and up to DDR3-1333 MHz frequency are used.
This entry level H61 motherboard doesn’t quite offer as many features as it’s ATX and m-ATX brothers, but it does boast useful features such as two SATA 3GB/s ports and a high end Realtek ALC889 HD audio codec.
The I/O panel offers optical and coaxial SPDIF audio ports, DVI, VGA and HDMI video connectors, four USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, an eSATA port, Gigabit ethernet and finally, 5.1 channel audio.
US pricing is around $105.
