Efficiency

Despite only being bronze-efficiency rated, our testing found that the Abkoncore ZN Series performed well beyond this remit and, based on our results, could potentially fall into ‘silver’ territory. It is, however, a matter of some curiosity that our test results were a lot more positive than their own advertised (which you can see on page one of this review).

This isn’t a bad point though. If anything, with this performing better than it says on the box, we’re already off to a great start!

PFC (Power Factor Correction)

The PFC rating does bring us down to earth a little, but that’s not necessarily a criticism. With the results being exactly what we would expect, while they’re not remarkably good or bad, sometimes just doing your job without making any fuss or drama is a good thing!

Voltage Regulation

While there was a little bit of deviancy in parts of our voltage regulation testing, the overall results are excellent. As you can see below, regardless of the power output level, the figures remained largely tight and consistent which is exactly what you want to see!
