We’re you looking forward to another excuse to take to the skies in the upcoming Ace Combat? The game was already announced for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which is great news for console gamers, but now Bandai Namco has revealed that the game will also be heading to PC, meaning we’ll be able to enjoy the game in higher fidelity and with higher frame rates when it is released later this year.
In Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, you can expect all the usual aircraft action, with dogfights, realistic visuals provided by the mighty Unreal Engine 4, and the usual fast-paced arcade gameplay the series has become known for. Check out the trailer below for a quick look at what you can expect.
“Fully rendered clouds fill the skies while highly detailed cityscapes enhance the sense of supersonic speed, setting the stage for highly exhilarating aerial battles,” says bandai Namco
Expect a campaign to give you an excuse to shoot at things, penned by the writer of Ace Combat 4 and 5, Sunao Katabuchi. Of course, you’ll also find online gameplay too.
No official release date just yet, but we would expect mid to late summer this year.
