Acer launches three more notebooks

Acer’s US division has announced three new notebooks to join in their product portfolio. These will be based on their “sapphire” design, also known as the Gemstone Blue. All 3 of the notebooks (Aspire AS5536, AS5739G, and AS7735Z) all feature Dolby surround sound audio, multi-gesture touchpad’s and Acer’s very own CineCrystal LED-backlit 16:9 displays. Is the world going HD?

The Aspire AS5336 includes a 15.6 inch screen, 2.1GHz clocked Athlon 64 X2 ZL-64 CPU, 3GB of memory, ATI Radeon HD 3200 integrated graphics, 320GB hard drive, 8x DVD writer and Wi-Fi capable of 802.11bgn. The starting price of this model will be $599.99 USD.

The mid range Aspire AS5739G also includes a 15.6 inch screen incorporating Intel’s Core 2 Duo T655, a whopping 4GB of DDR3 1066MHz memory, Nvidia Geforce GT310M integrated graphics with an astonishing 1GB of memory, 250GB hard drive, 8x Blu-ray drive, multi-gesture touchpad and the same fantastic Wi-Fi capabilities. The starting price of this model will be $749.00 USD.

The largest of the 3 notebooks is the AS7735Z, which comes packed with a 17.3 inch screen, featuring a 2.0GHz Pentium T4200 CPU, 4Gb DDR3 1066MHz memory, GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics, 250GB hard drive, 8x DVD Super Multi drive, and the same Wi-Fi capabilities as the other notebooks.

You can expect the AS5336 and AS7735Z to be available now, whilst the AS5739G should be available nearer the end of June.
