Acer Today has announced two new additions to its range of curved screens with their new ultrawide Nitro XZ452CUV and Predator X34 V.
Acer’s new Nitro XZ452CUV is a massive 44.5-inch ultrawide gaming monitor with a 1500R curvature providing a viewing experience like no other. The 32:9, 5120×1440 display allows for users to do much more at once with the much wider viewing angles and still features a fast 165Hz refresh rate with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.
An ultrawide display provides a new level of immersion which is further enhanced by the high-quality colours and image details that the Nitro provides. With support for up to 90% DCI-P3 and DisplayHDR 400 this monitor provides brilliant colours and image quality. Gamers can also enjoy a comfortable experience thanks to BlueLightShield Pro, Flickerless, Low-Dimming and ComfyView technology all backed up with an Eyesafe 2.0 certification. Further on this, the included Acer Ergostand allows for users to adjust the monitor to their most comfortable position. Enhancing this monitor further is the included three-in-one USB type-C port for display, data transfer and device charging as well as the RJ45 port and KVM switch.
The next monitor revealed by Acer is the Predator X34 V, another ultrawide monitor this time with a 3440×1440 resolution with an 1800R curve and an OLED panel. This OLED panel features DisplayHDR400 as well as a wide DCI-P3 99% colour gamut and brings out the best colours and images games have to offer.
The 34″ monitor features a fast 175 Hz refresh rate and a 0.1 ms response time to ensure gamers have fast and fluid reactions with little to no ghosting. The refresh rate is paired with AMD FreeSync Premium and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) to prevent screen tearing. Like the Nitro, the Predator also features several comfort features including BlueLightShield Pro, Flickerless, Low-dimming, ComfyView and Eyesafe 2.0 certification.
