Acer began their GPU career with Intel’s Arc Alchemist series but plans to extend to offering AMD extend as far back as February last year. Since then we have seen cards come from the company including an RX 7800 XT Predator, RX 7700 XT Nitro, and RX 7600 XT Nitro and soon an RX 7900 GRE Predator and Nitro will be joining these cards.
Via VideoCardz, Two new models have been spotted for the RX 7900 GRE, a Predator and a Nitro model with triple fan and dual fan designs respectively. The Predator model uses the Triple Frostblade 3.0 fans with a distinct ringed design and wave-patterned blade texture. This card is capable of boosting up to 2395 MHz with a 2050 MHz game clock.
The Nitro on the other hand features a dual fan design utilising ringed axial fans with a winglet along each blade to reduce airflow leakage. This card also features an overclock of up to 2395 MHz boost, and a 2050 MHz game clock
Both cards are expected to use around 260W of power and feature a dual 8-pin connection.
There are no details on when these GPUs will hit the shelves but we can predict a price point somewhere above the $549 MSRP of the Radeon RX 7900 GRE. As of writing several ACER Radeon cards are available from Newegg in the US but not the RX 7900 GRE model. In the UK you can find ACER Radeon cards on Amazon but again not the GRE model.
