Acer has announced its latest lineup of gaming monitors at IFA 2024, pushing the boundaries of gaming technology with the introduction of its Nitro series displays featuring refresh rates up to 600Hz. This groundbreaking development is set to deliver ultra-smooth gameplay for competitive gamers.
The standout model from Acer’s announcement is the Nitro XV240 F6, which boasts a 600Hz refresh rate and a 24.1-inch TN Film panel. Designed specifically for high-performance gaming, this monitor aims to provide an edge for esports enthusiasts and professional gamers who demand the fastest response times.
In addition to its impressive refresh rate, the Nitro XV240 F6 includes features like a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400 nits brightness, and 95% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, ensuring vibrant colors and deep contrasts. It also supports AMD FreeSync technology, reducing screen tearing for a smoother visual experience.
Acer also introduced other models in the Nitro series, including the XV270 F5 and XV270U F5. These monitors cater to gamers seeking both speed and high-definition visuals. The XV270 F5 offers a 520Hz refresh rate on a 27-inch FHD panel, while the XV270U F5 delivers a 500Hz refresh rate on a 27-inch WQHD panel. Both monitors are equipped with AMD FreeSync technology and HDR10 support, enhancing both color accuracy and overall gaming immersion.
Acer’s focus on delivering top-tier gaming performance extends to usability, with features like built-in WebOS for seamless navigation and connectivity options including HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB Type-C ports.
These monitors will be available in early 2025, starting at $599.99 USD in North America.
