Acer VA40 notebook spotted with Ivy Bridge and Kepler

We know that both Ivy Bridge and Kepler are within a month or so of launching (although we expect Kepler to come first). An Acer notebook has been spotted with an Ivy Bridge Core i7-3612QM processor which features: four cores, eight threads, 6MB of L3 cache and a stock clock speed of 2.1GHz which will have a significant turbo mode boost (by the looks of things 3.1GHz). This is all impressively done off just a 35W TDP. The GT 640M card this notebook comes with is based off Nvidia’s newest 28nm Kepler architecture. It features 384 CUDA cores, 2 GB of DDR3 memory over a 128-bit wide memory interface, 16 ROPs, core clock speed of 405 MHz, and 900 MHz memory. The card is reported as PCI-E 3.0 ready and at 0% load reported temperatures of just 32 degrees, very impressive for a notebook GPU.
