ADATA Announces the i-Memory AI920 Jet Black Flash Drive

ADATA launched the new flash drive for ioS devices called the i-Memory AI920 Jet Black Flash drive. The flash drive features dual connectivity with both USB 3.1 and Lightning in one slim 6.9mm device.

ADATA created the new i-Memory AI920 in three capacity options: 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. The performance is quite nice, at least when it comes to reading where it can deliver up to 150MB/s. The write speeds aren’t mentioned, but they’ll most likely be between 45MB/s and 90MB/s depending on capacity. At least when we look at similar flash drive’s performance.

The drive isn’t totally new as such, but the Jet Black colour is and it has been added in order to better complement Apple devices with an exact colour match. Gold and Red Gold version of the drive were already available. The AI920 is also Apple MFi certified, making it an official iOS accessory.

The Jet Black version offers a style that matches great with the iPhone 7. the paint and coating materials used are scratch resistant against scuffing and other forms of abrasive damage. The AI920 Jet Black boasts surfaces rated 2H scratch resistant to ensure it retains a deep glossy luster long term. The drive has also been tested to withstand water and dust so that user data is protected on the go. The connectors have also been extended for an easy and secure fit even if devices have very thick covers installed by users.

The AI920 works in plug n play as storage expansion when connected to iOS and Windows devices, allowing easy data transfer across different operating system families. It will however work even better when paired with the ADATA i-Memory app, a free download from the App Store. In conjunction with this app, it can also mirror output to any TVB with Chromcast.
