ADATA’s drive design typically follows one of two paths, the first of these is with a sleek and refined look with brushed metal finishes or simple plain designs whilst the other main path of design is with bold colours and materials that give a feel of ruggedness and affordability. The HV620 as we can see takes the sleek and simple approach with an all black gloss design with little more than the brand name and model number on the top and a small warranty label on the underside.
On the end of the drive we find a SuperSpeed USB3.0 Micro-B port and just above this on the upper face of the drive is a blue status and activity LED.
One of the key aspects with this drives design is its scratch resistant casing. To assist with scratch prevention ADATA have incorporated a small lip around the outer edge of the drive to lift the casing away from a desk which could otherwise mark the case.
