Today sees ADATA announcing their latest product to the market; the DashDrive Air AE400 wireless storage reader/power bank. With this nifty device, users will be able to share music, pictures and other data anywhere while also charging their portable device.
The product has two aspects to it, the first being a wireless reader that can stream data from USB flash drives and SD memory cards, while the other major function is that it acts as a power bank to charge your mobile devices.
The device can be operated through its wireless hotspot technology with support for 802.11b/g/n and can be shared by up to 10 devices at any one time. In terms of streaming data content, the device supports up to 3 devices at the same time allowing streaming of 1080p video or 5 users streaming 720p video.
Operating systems that are supported by the device include Android, iOS, Linux 2.4+, Mac OS X and Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8. On both Android and iOS platforms, an app is available to download from the app store and Google Play download areas.
