ADATA makes some great memory and storage products, ranging from laptop and desktop memory over solid state drives to portable and rugged hard disk drives. Getting hold of their products in the UK could be tricky at times, but that is about to change now. ADATA entered a partnership with Tech Data for the UK distribution of ADATA products. This new partnership adds to alliances between the two in continental European markets.
Dave Taylor, ADATA UK Country Manager for Sales and Marketing, commented on the agreement: “We are delighted to be partnering with Tech Data. It is important for us to align the ADATA brand with distributors that allow greater coverage and help support the existing customer base with new products. We are happy to expand our presence in the UK and look forward to working with Tech Data to quickly enhance ADATA awareness across the customer base. We believe the partnership is an exciting prospect that complements our current channel presence.”
This might sound like some weak news to begin with, at least when it comes to the sensation factor. However, it brings along benefits on all sides. ADATA gets a better market presence which means they can reach more customers.
That is also great news for us here at eTeknix. An increased market presence will lead to increased marketing budgets which again leads to us to getting more review samples.
