ADATA Launches First USB4 SE920 External SSD

Today ADATA Has launched the industry’s first USB4 external SSD featuring higher read/write speeds for maximum external storage performance with the latest technology.

ADATA USB4 SE920 External SSD

This new external SSD supports the latest USB4 technology which is capable of transmission speeds up to 40 Gbps through the now standard Type-C interface. The SE920 external SSD is capable of high speeds of up to 3,800/3,700MB/s read/write and is capable of transferring a 10GB 4K video file in around 3 seconds. With these high speeds comes a demand for a strong cooling solution which ADATA provides. It uses a proprietary patented active dissipation design with a built-in microfan which is activated by pushing on the telescoping casing. Compared to fanless products with similar specs, this can significantly reduce temperatures by around 10%.

MIL-STD Shock Resistant SD620 and Cable-Free SC610

Also launching are the SD620 and SC610 external SSDs both designed for unique demographics. The SD620 is designed with high MIL-STD Shock resistance within a chic and sporty frame in black, blue and red colour options. It features speeds of up to 520MB/s and offers seamless support to a variety of devices.

The SC610 is a more lightweight and compact portable SSD which uses a slide-out capless connector that does not require a cable. It offers speeds of up to 550/500MB/s which is five times the performance of a regular flash drive.
