ADATA Launches XPG Dazzle LED DDR4 Memory
John Williamson / 9 years ago
ADATA is one of the industry’s leading manufacturers of high-performance DRAM modules and often designs products with a unique aesthetic design. Their latest creation created dubbed the XPG Dazzle is the company’s first LED DDR4 memory kit. The modules incorporate illuminated LED strips to create an eye-catching appearance and add a more vibrant look to a custom PC build. The lighting technology, patented by AVEXIR caught people’s attention with the DDR3 and later, DDR4 core series. This particular implementation looks spectacular and I cannot wait to see the vibrant effects in the flesh.
The XPG Dazzle modules are available in 8GB x2, 8GB x4, 16GB x2 and 16GB x4 to cater towards users with contrasting memory requirements. On another note, the memory undergoes a strict filtering process and ADATA only selects high-performing ICs. Not only that, the DIMMs utilise the company’s thermal conductive technology to improve heat dissipation and feature the finest-quality PCBs on the market. This enhances durability and makes failures very unlikely. I’m also pleased that they decided to use a black PCB which adds to the stunning visual design. Unfortunately, ADATA didn’t provide any information on pricing or the various speeds you can acquire. Presumably, the range should be between 2400MHz and 3200MHz. As always, we will be getting in contact with ADATA to receive a review sample for testing purposes. Illuminated components appear to be the current trend and various manufacturers have incorporated this into their components.
