ADATA Launches XPG Invader X Mid-Tower PC Case With Wraparound Tempered Glass

XPG has launched its new Invader X Mid-Tower PC case which joins in the wraparound tempered glass design trend made popular by Lian Li’s O-11 Dynamic and provides a stunning showcase of all your internal hardware from two angles.

XPG Invader X Mid-Tower

The new Invader X is XPG’s latest product designed to deliver a more “showcase” style to your system. It features wraparound tempered glass on the front and side panels with no A pillar giving a clear view of everything inside. Unlike similar cases, XPG has not opted for the Dual-Chamber design and instead chose the standard PSU Chamber on the underside of the case which could be a dealbreaker for some who want a full unobstructed view. With this design it uses the side panel for airflow as well as the bottom and top panels which all feature magnetic dust filters to ensure the internals remain clean.

Cooling Support

XPG are quite generous with the pre-installed fans which include four 120mm ARGB reverse-blade fans as well as one regular 120mm ARGB fan if maths isn’t your strong suit, that’s a total of five. The reverse blade design allows for unobstructed RGB as the fan frame will be on the intake side rather than the exhaust side making it ideal for the side mount where three of the fans are installed. The other two fans are installed in the rear and on the single slot at the bottom of the case. There are also two fans slots on the PSU chamber and three fan slots available on the top of the case which also makes an ideal position for a 360mm AIO as well as the side which can also support it.

Hardware Compatibility

Fitting in the latest components is no issue with support for up to ATX motherboards with a maximum cooler height of up to 175mm. Without a side mounted radiator, you have up to 400mm of GPU clearance or 270mm with a side-mounted radiator. XPG also includes a GPU holder as well as a vertical PCIe 4.0 mounting kit (optional by model). PSUs up to 240mm can fit into the case and it features cable channels with five cable straps to assist with cable management.
