The memory masters at ADATA were out in force at Computex, with their latest range of XPG memory, as well as a whole host of other cool products. First up, we’ve got their GAMMIX memory, which was shown running at an impressive 4500 MHz, meh, so what. I snark as it was their SPECTRIX D80 which clocking in a staggering 5000 MHz, and if that doesn’t get the enthusiasts attention, nothing will.
Why does this memory clock so high? Well, it’s technically water cooled! It uses a hybrid cooling system that allows it to maintain much higher speeds without the need for extra cooling hardware, pretty impressive really!
Everyone has an M.2 cooler this year, but this is the first I’ve seen with a tiny fan. This one kinda looks like a tiny GPU, and will help push your M.2 drive to the max. Of course, it also has RGB.
The world’s first RGB PCIe Cooler for M.2 drives. This big card provides big cooling for both an M.2 PCIe and M.2 SATA drive, allowing you to max out the performance on both.
They also revealed their professional NVMe PCIe Gen 3 solutions, the SX7100 and SX8200. These aren’t consumer drives, at least not yet, but they promise big performance and features that are sure to please the enterprise markets.
Tired of storage issues on SSDs? I doubt it, but for enterprise, huge capacity is king. Clocking in at up to 11TB, these monster drives are sure to go in my PLEX server, I mean… Enterprise workstations and data centres.
Their new smart speakers and devices feature their new AROBOT technology. They’re basically custom Alexa devices, capable of taking voice commands and such. Sure, Amazon has their hardware, but it’s nice to see more competition in the market.
