ADATA SP300 24GB mSATA SSD Review

If you’ve never seen an mSATA SSD before, the first thing that is clear is the lack of case to the drive. With a drive of this type designed to be as compact and minimal as possible, a case is the last thing that is wanted. Both power and data flows through a single interface to the double sided PCB that measures a mere 51mm x 30mm and weighing only 7g.
On the lower side of the drive we find the SF-2141 controller, capable of delivering speeds of up to 280MB/s read and 260MB/s write on its 3Gbps interface.
