How Much Does it Cost?

The ADATA XPG Battlecruiser is one of their latest flagship PC cases. As you might expect, it comes with a bit of a premium price tag to match. However, with an MSRP of £139.00, I think it’s phenomenal value for money too. Not cheap, but still a very good deal when you factor in everything you get for your investment. Overview

ADATA makes award-winning memory products and much more beyond. However, their gaming team at XPG has been making aggressive moves into the wider PC market. Stunning gaming headsets, keyboards, mice and more are pouring out of their R&D department. The XPG Battlecruiser is by far one of the finest cases they’ve made to date. Even more so, it’s one of the coolest cases I’ve reviewed in ages too. Sure, it’s not the first heavily tempered-glass RGB monsters I’ve seen, but it does get all the big features bang on right, and it’s just unique enough to stand out from the growing crowd.

Build Quality

Well, the core frame is thick steel, and certainly feels plenty robust. It needs to be too, as it provides vital mounting for a huge amount of thick tempered glass. The fit and finish of the case really hold up though, and everything locks in tightly, which should help you maintain good airflow where you need it, rather than through pesky panel gaps. The addition of quality dust filters, modular drive and cooling mounts, and frankly, more grommets than any chassis I’ve ever seen, all win it extra points too.

Added Value

The XPG Battlecruiser lives up to its overly cool name I think. It’s one seriously kick-ass looking PC case. However, the addition of four fully addressable RGB fans really sparks life into it. Four ARGB fans aren’t something that comes cheap, hence to over £100 price tag. Of course, it’s all set up and ready to rock, and even comes with a handy built-in RGB controller too. Things like the hidden drive mounts, PSU shroud, vertical GPU support, and USB Type-C certainly sweeten the deal even further though.

Should I Buy One?

I’m loving what ADATA is doing with their new PC cases. The XPG Battlecruiser is a strong alternative to some of the big-name case brands out there. Admittedly, it’s a bit extreme for some people. However, if you love lashings of tempered glass, loads of RGB, and a versatile PC case that can handle the latest enthusiast hardware and cooling gear, you’ll certainly get a kick out of the Battlecruiser.
