ADATA XPG CYBERCORE Platinum 1300W Power Supply Review

Packaging
The packaging for the XPG CYBERCORE is certainly eye-catching with a bright red box. I’ll freely concede, this is a colour you don’t see used much in any kind of PC product. Contrasted against the nice large image of the power supply itself, however, it (perhaps surprisingly) really seems to work!
In another feature in the XPG CYBERCORE’s cap, the box is absolutely crammed with useful information on practically all sides. It’s no exaggeration to say that practically anything you could want to know about this PSU is detailed somewhere on the packaging!
Overall, except for the somewhat unusual red colouring, the XPG CYBERCORE’s boxwork is excellent both in terms of presentation and the information provided. Somehow, against a lot of my expectations had you described this to me, I actually rather like it. It genuinely pops and grabs your attention which, in fairness, is what all good packagings primary intent should be!
Accessories
The XPG comes with a product manual and a set of stickers which are both contained within a quite nice branded cardboard sleeve. As this is a power supply, you don’t, of course, expect much in the way of accessories. What you do get here, however, is nice with even a few zip ties thrown into the mix for a little assistance in the cable management.
Speaking of cables, these are provided to you within a branded canvas bag which is, at least in my opinion, a bit larger than you usually expect. Given the absolute masses of cables you get with the XPG CYBERCORE, however, this shouldn’t be too surprising as they clearly need to fit inside something and more so for the (what I expect will be a rather large number) of ones you don’t need for your immediate components!
