During Computex 2017, ADATA‘s booth paid particular focus on their XPG gaming brand. Since they are primarily a memory and storage manufacturer, the company’s expansion towards more gaming products includes new peripherals and products they have not offered before. However, the company is not going to overlook their primary memory and storage business so they have new products for those as well. Introducing the Gammix D10 and Gammix S10.
The Gammix D10 DDR4 modules are available with black or red heatspreader options. ADATA custom designed the 10-layer PCB for performance and kept the heatspreader relatively lower profile than their other memory products. Users can choose speeds from 2400 to 3000 MHz, with full Intel X299 compatibility via XMP profiles. Like all memory products in the market, the D10 DDR4 comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
The Gammix S10 SSD on the other hand is an M.2 PCIe x4 NVMe SSD with a heatsink. According to ADATA, this heatsink drops the temperatures by at least 10 degrees celcius compared to a naked M.2 drive. It boasts sequential speeds of 1800MB/s read and 850MB/s write. It also has achieves IOPS performance of 130K read and 140K write, thanks to the SMI controller utilizing 3D TLC NAND.
Each S10 SSD comes in a 2280 form factor and is available capacities of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. For peace of mind, this drive has a 2 million mean time before failure rating (MTBF) and is also covered with a 5-year warranty.
