addlink Technology has today introduced its new Gen4x4 A93 SSD offering an affordable PCIe Gen 4 storage solution for both PCs and PS5.
The A93 SSD is a PCIe Gen 4 SSD that delivers sequential read/write speed of up to 7400/6500 MB/s and random reads of 1000K IOPS on PC platforms. It aims to be a budget option with a DRAM-less design that is compatible with both PC and Sony’s PlayStation 5 console which allows for M.2 SSD upgrades.
The SSD comes equipped with a slim but stylish aluminium heatsink that keeps the drive cool with an efficient heat-conducting silica gel pad to enhance heat dissipation by over 20%. The heatsink is also slim with a height of 8.75mm allowing it to fit comfortably within the expansion bay of the PS5.
The SSD also ensures longevity with the inclusion of the latest LDPC ECC, advanced wear levelling and over-provisioning technology. Alongside the heat sink, all of these inclusions allow for an extended lifespan and guaranteed data accuracy that is backed with a 5-year warranty.
The A93 SSD will be available in 1TB, 2TB and 4TB variants, for more information visit addlink.com.
