Advanced Series USB OTG Flash Drives Announced By Monster Digital

Monster Digital has released their own version of Advanced Series dual connector Mobile USB OTG Flash Drive, helping users transfer files and perform back-ups on and to their smartphones and tablets without the need of Wi-Fi or Cloud services. Monster Digital is a leading innovator and provider of premium quality memory and storage solutions, specializing in the rapidly growing flash-based memory category.

The Advanced Series USB Flash Drives are USB On-The-Go (OTG) compatible, and vastly expand on the usefulness of mobile flash drives in today’s digital ecosystem. Most beneficial to users is the dual USB connector feature, consisting of a standard-sized type-A USB connector, as well as a micro USB connector. Micro USB is the standard format common to most Android based smartphones. So photos, media files, contact information and other vital content can easily be transferred to the drive, saved there as a back-up or, using the standard-sized USB connector, moved onto a Windows PC or Mac.

The drive also allows users to view videos and photos from smartphones, tablets or computers a large screen without any additional players or cables on TVs and other home entertainment equipment that have USB support available. Transferring and storing data over the web can sometimes be slow, unstable and unreliable. Also, the drives provide a fast, easy and cable-free option for an increasing number of users who are concerned about the privacy and security of the cloud.

The Advanced Series USB OTG Flash Drives also have multiple features to ensure a quality user experience. Advanced error correction ensures data integrity, static and dynamic wear leveling adds to the life of the drive, and both USB connectors are retractable for protection. The drives transfer files very quickly at data rates up to 80 MB/s and are also compatible with USB 2.0 devices.

The Advanced Series OTG Flash Drives are available in 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB capacities at retail price of $16.99, $23.99, $39.99 and $74.99.
