AeroCool has just revealed their new L-5200 mid-tower chassis. The new chassis comes with a slim and tall design constructed from SECC steel, measuring in at 220 mm x 376.5 mm x 460 mm (WxDxH). There are two colour options available, which you can see in the images here, black and white.
The front of the chassis features a full-height intake, which does mean that you won’t find any 5.25″ drive bays, but it frees up room for huge coolers, with room for 360mm, 280mm radiators, or 3 x 120mm/2 x 140mm fans. There are two more 120mm fan mounts in the top, and a 140mm in the rear. There’s even a two zone fan controller built into the front panel, helping you take control of the chassis acoustic and cooling capabilities.
The chassis features a partitioned layout on the interior, giving you a nice cover for your PSU and some of the storage bays, which also means that you free up a huge amount of room for expansion cards, with 346mm clearance, or 371 with no front fans in the way.
Storage support comprises of 3 x 3.5″/2.5″ mounts in the lower compartment, as well as room for an additional 4 x 2.5″ drives behind the motherboard tray.
No word on pricing or release date just yet, but we’ll update you as soon as we know more.
