Aerocool BX-500 Evil Black Edition Full-Tower PC Chassis Review

Now that we have our system complete, we can see there is still plenty of room inside this chassis for a multi GPU setup, a range of hard drives and just about enough room for our Antec 920 Kuhler.
We can see the cable clips being put to good use for cable management here, sure it’s not perfect, but the airflow through the case is unobstructed more than enough.
The Antec 920 has had to be mounted near the front of the chassis, there just wasn’t enough clearance from the heat sink to mount the fans and radiator in the rear of the chassis, but it is a bulky cooler.
Because this chassis wasn’t really designed for this kind of radiator, I had to mount it on a slight angle, which you can see by my use of only two screws, this was due to a conflict with the ram getting in the way, but after a bit of testing I was confident that it was secure and stable.
With the side panel back on things are looking pretty slick, the bright orange back plate is showing through behind the motherboard, and the clear panel gives us a great view of the MSI GTX 560 Ti.
Around the back we can see everything is nicely installed, apart from a small issue with the quick release clips for the expansion slots, there was a small metal strip on our GTX 560 that meant the clips would no close to secure the card, so I had to resort to using screws, which the chassis supports no problem, but the clips wouldn’t close with a screw installed, this can be seen on the 2nd clip down next to the GPU as it’s left sticking out a little.
