A Closer Look

First up we have the blue 140mm fan, immediately we can see that the design is quite unique mixing patches of colours with the black frame and fan blades to give a colourful and stylish overall design. The fan blades are plastic, but on this side you’ll find each blade has two sections of blue rubber against the black of the fan blade that are designed to help absorb noise and vibration, but also help with reducing air turbulence.

On the back you’ll find the fish eye design on the back of the fan blades, this again helps with air turbulence, and there are even little notches in the “X” that forms the fan mount, that will help further direct airflow.

Each corner is fitted with a rubber silencer block, anti-vibration rubber pads and mounting holes for the rubber mounting pegs.

The LED lighting is set into the side of the fan, designed to shine through onto the edges of the fan blades.

Here we have the 120mm red fan, which is of course designed the same, the only difference here being the size and the choice of colour we have. Both the fans come fitted with a 3-pin fan cable, with some black sleeving to keep things looking neat and tidy, of course you can also attach the 7v cable or the molex power adaptor to maximise compatibility.

The motor for the fan features a Fluid Dynamic Bearing, which should provide long life and great precision as well as anti-shock function. A low start voltage of just 3V also ensure that you can maintain low RPM without the fan needed an extra kick to start spinning.

Lastly, just because it’s the first thing I thought of when I saw the design on these fans, the black and blue and the black and red really reminded me of the colours used by Spiderman, wouldn’t you agree?
