Aerocool Mechatron White Edition Mid-Tower Chassis Review

With the side panel off we can see that the front panel comes heavily pre-wired, with native USB 3.0 being supported. The four cable management cutouts all come fitted with rubber grommets to keep things neat and tidy and a large cutout on the mounting plate makes for easy installations of your CPU cooler.

The back 120mm pre-installed fan is of a fairly decent quality but nothing too exciting really, but comes fitted with both a molex and motherboard header to ensure system compatibility.

The front of the chassis has three 5.25″ drive bays, each fitted with quick release clips. Below that we have three 2.5″ drive bays and four 3.5″ drive bays, each with an easy access slide out tray, making installations or drive swaps nice and easy. There is also room for an additional 120/140mm fan in the base of the chassis between the PSU and the bottom hard drive bay.

With the front panel off we can see the stunning blue blade 200mm fan that comes pre-installed, providing a great level or airflow to the system. There are some LED lights fitted into both the fan and the top of the front panel, as you can see I couldn’t completely move the front cover due to the power connections for these lights.

With the back panel removed, we get a much better look at the cable management options here, the is a decent amount of room back here but not as much as I would have expected. There also isn’t many cable loops to run through any cable ties, which would keep more of the cables neat in check behind the motherboard, although this isn’t too much of an issue as once installed you won’t really see behind this plate.
