Out of the box, the Quartz Pro certainly makes a statement. This chassis is big, bold and pretty darn heavy. Of course, it’s bound to be heavy given its size, as well as the fact it features not one, but two tempered glass panels. The glass on the front and the left side is tinted, so it’ll hide the bulk of the internal workings, but should show off any LED lighting in spectacular fashion.
Located at the top of the front panel, you’ll find four USB ports, HD Audio jacks, and the usual power controls. Another welcome feature here, a built-in fan speed controller, giving you flexibility over cooling and acoustic performance.
Since the front is glass, airflow is handed by full-height ventilation on the left and right sides of the panel. This indirect approach helps greatly reduce fan noise while still allowing for good airflow. Of course, it also looks super clean and tidy too.
The right side panel is made from thick steel, and is mounted with two thumb screws at the back; pretty straightforward stuff really.
What’s really cool is that it features a lot of ventilation too, allowing for airflow to the extra radiator/fan mounting bracket that comes included in the box.
Around the back, there’s plenty going on. At the top of the motherboard I/O, there’s a pair of white LED lights, making it easier to find your USB ports. Obviously, this chassis supports E-ATX, so that means ten full expansion slots, perfect for multi-GPU configurations. There’s also a 120/140mm fan mount, and three smaller fan mounts below that should you need them.
On the top, you’ll find a magnetic dust filter to help provide clean airflow.
Underneath it, there are both 120mm and 140mm mountings for fans and radiators.
The front panel opens out, providing quick access to the full height dust filter for those lovely pre-installed RGB fans. Here you’ll also find a pair of 5.25″ drive bays.
Finally, on the base, there are four chunky feet providing stability, while also providing ground clearance for the PSU dust filter/air intake.
