Once installed in the system, we used the Aerocool Xpredator chassis for display purposes, we can see that the Touch-2000 takes up 2 x 5.25″ optical drive bays.
With everything connected and powered up we get our first real look at the LCD displays readouts, as you can see there are four temperature read outs across the top and four fan RPM readouts across the bottom, our current system temps are a steady 23c here, but given the system is just powered on these are essentially the ambient temperatures.
In the centre of the display we have the Aero Cool logo, lock button, c/f key to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, which as you can see I have pressed and our temps are now reading between 72f and 74f
The touch panel allows you to simply press which fan you want to control and adjust its speed with the +/- buttons, giving you real-time feed back on the current speed and temperatures, or as you can see in the picture below it can notify you when your components have reached an alarm temperature, you can of course custom set what that temperature is and the Touch-2000 will flash and beep until you do something about it.
