Aerocool XPredator II Full-Tower Gaming Chassis Review

Interior
With the side panel removed, we see that the interior has been given a powder black finish, giving it a nice contrast to the exterior of the chassis. There’s a good-size CPU cooler mounting cut-out behind the motherboard area, as well as plenty of cable routing grommets, as well as some extra vertical grommets to help accommodate XL-ATX motherboards, as the first set of grommets would be covered by these larger motherboards.
In the top, as well as in the rear, there are pre-installed 140mm fans, bringing the total fan count to 5 x 140mm, so stock airflow certainly isn’t going to be an issue here.
In the base, there’s a good amount of ventilation for the PSU, as well as an additional 120/140mm fan mount.
All of the 5.25″ drive bays come fitted with a tool-free locking system, allowing for quick and easy drive installation/removal.
In the mid-section, five tool-free trays for 3.5″ drives, although each also supports 2.5″ drives with the use of the included screws. This entire section can also be removed via two thumb screws, allowing for even more clearance for extremely long expansion cards.
Further down, we have three more drive trays with the same design as the rest, making eight of them in total.
Each of the expansion slots comes fitted with ventilated and reusable metal covers, each fitted with thumbscrews. Of course, this being a full-tower, you’ll have no issues finding room for up to a quad SLI/CF graphics card configuration.
Behind the motherboard tray, there’s a huge amount of room for cable routing, as well as a good amount of cable tie loops to help keep things neat and tidy.
