With the side panel removed we get a much better view of the motherboard mounting plate, which is painted with a high quality finish in bright orange (obviously). The same high contrast black and orange theme continues through the optical drive bay quick release clips and the eight pull-out HDD trays.
To the rear of the chassis we have a stock 140mm extraction fan and PCI covers, each fitted with quick release thumb screws. As you can see the back plate comes with a large cut-out behind the motherboard to allow for quick and easy changes of your CPU cooler.
The front panel comes extensively pre-wired to support the HDD dock, fan controllers and I/O panel, there is plenty of excess cable here too which allows for good cable routing to help keep thing neat and tidy once your system is installed.
The top of the X3 is one of the major design features with its retractable fins allowing for changes in airflow to the system, pair this with the ability to mount two 120/140mm fans or one 200mm fans and the front panel fan controller for great cooling flexibility.
Around the back of the chassis you can clearly see the multitude of cable management cutouts, each fitted with a high quality rubber grommet which keeps things looking tidy and adds a bit of extra style to the interior of the chassis. There are also a good selection of cable tie down loops across the panel to make good use of the included cable ties.
With the front panel removed you can see there is an orange 200mm fan pre-installed for air intake as well as a LED strip light just below the front I/O panel.
